Our Weekly Themes

Fun and academic, this summer's weeklong themes include:

WEEK 1: Earth Explorers
(June 17-21) | $475

Let’s get grounded! We’ll root ourselves deep into our planet Earth by going straight to the core and then back up to the surface. We’ll be sculpting spheres, learning about layers through landscape art, getting gravity going with marbles and magnets, and tending to tiny terrariums to support lovely living gardens. These are just a few of the ways we’ll be gaining wisdom about our world!

WEEK 3: Red, White, & Blue
(July 1-3) | $285
Stars and Stripes abound in this 3-day camp leading up to our Nation’s birthday! Each day we’ll explore, create, and tap into the emotions and meaning of each of our flag’s colors: 1) bold and fiery red, 2) peaceful, cloud-like white, and 3) beautiful sky blue. Bravery, innocence, and justice are all qualities young children have in abundance, so let’s use this short week to make our own mini-American memories!
WEEK 5: Water Works
(July 15-19) | $475

We’ll float into this week’s camp with our paddles ready to steer whichever way the tide takes us! We’ll investigate water’s mysterious and changing forms in its liquid or icy form – dripping color on canvases, freezing objects into ice, floating handcrafted boats, and making summer snowflakes that sparkle! Ride along on this river of creativity with us as we learn to swim into summer and go with the flow!

WEEK 2: Blowing in the Wind
(June 24-28) | $475
Often invisible but potently powerful, wind is an element that’s not just airy fairy! We will use our breath to make sounds and move objects, and we’ll ignite our creative flames by constructing wildly wonderful wind chimes, fantastically flamboyant fans, and beautiful bubble art!
WEEK 4: Salute to the Sun
(July 8-12) | $475
Whether soothingly warm or sneakily scorching, the sun is the center of our solar system and our source of life. From sun prints to solar system mobiles, the heat is on for this summer camp as we melt into the science and wonder of warmth! We will soften crayons into sun sculptures, touch on time by creating sundials, sit in the sun for a circle of stories, and observe the science of how spheres orbit.
WEEK 6: The Mighty Dot
(July 22-26) | $475
Let’s untangle a bit of the mystery of perception by unraveling how we see the world! We will connect-the-dots, make star stamps, peek into pixels, and much more. So hop along with us on this exciting week where we learn how to see beyond what’s solid and dance into a world where dots abound, spirals twirl, and circles bring everything together!

Extended care hours: 8:30-9:00 a.m. and 3:00-4:30 p.m.

Fees for extended care:  3 Days - $60, 4 Days - $80, 5 Days - $100

Warm & Welcoming Staff

With a 12:1 camper to counselor ratio, we offer small group supervision at all times and a policy of inclusion to ensure all campers receive the attention they deserve. Most of our counselors are full-time teachers at Marin Horizon during the school year.

Safety is our first Priority

We maintain strict protocols throughout the school year that will continue to be in effect over the summer. All of our teachers have received training on classroom cleaning and disinfecting procedures and we utilize outdoor classroom spaces often.
